BTM's Headroom Kitchen Studios v6

HEADROOM VERSION NUMBER SIX
After nine years in Allston, MA, my studio has morphed again into another location in Boston. Three were in Boston's South End (1984-2001) and two in Allston (2001-2010) and now the newest v6 is one town over in Brighton, MA. This version is a hybrid of the best of all the gear I was really using packed into a KITCHEN nook. My full Pro Tool TDM audio and Final Cut Pro video rigs are wired in. Now I can focus on editing/mixing the dozens of studio sessions and live shows that I have already shot/recorded that have never been released. (more on that coming up)

The rest of my collections (circuit bent toys, outsider instruments, junk percussion, electronics, synths, guitars, records, etc) are stashed in storage. My LIVE BTM Orgy Of Noise rig is right at the front ready to MAYBE go on the road in late 2011/2012. Plus, I have access to a higher speed internet connection and will be doing more BTM Television Webcasts where you can look over my shoulder as I edit/mix upcoming DVDs & CDs. Plus, cooking recipe segments and special appearances by Bent Tron Bot & Sheri & ZiggyCat & much more on the upcoming 2011 BTM TV season.

NO PLANS for ANY LIVE BTM GIGS yet, but look for pre-season BTM TV Webcasts soon-ish. Eventually I plan to do regular BTM TV webcasts. I will mainly focus on my own DVD video projects and a few choice remix or soundtrack projects. Plus some MIGHT do some freelance engineer/production for OTHER bands at OTHER studios.

In the meantime... tons of my videos are already online at: htt://YouTube.com/btmtv & a pile of my albums/cds for free download at: htt://MP3ORGY.com

TronBot (my circuit bent robot) and ME (Bill T Miller) spent July 4th holidays on tour in North Carolina. Just another family outing at Ocean Isle Beach, just like when I was a kid in the 60s/70s. Truth is I never ever take a "vacation" and am always working/playing in some fashion.

VUVUZELA Horns REMIX Circuit Bent Megaphone = ORGY OF NOISE by BILL T MILLER

Vuvuzela World Cup Horn mimics a swarm of bees and has been blown non-stop at World Cup 2010 matches. Bill T Miller blows his circuit bent MEGAPHONE that mimics a swarm of electrofried insects into an ORGY OF NOISE. Both VUVUZELA and the BENT MEGAPHONE are so deliciously annoying that they had to be morphed into this jiffy BTM REMIX delight.

The fun luving genius goofball maniacs programmers at YouTube added a button in the shape of a football/soccer ball that turns on the vuvuzela horns that begged for a jiffy BTM REMIX with the original 2008 video "Circuit Bent Warped Megaphone Orgy Of Noise."
Orig video is Bill T Miller of Orgy Of Noise broadcasting on BTMTELEVISION.com with a circuit bent warpspeak megaphone that was bent by Waterhed.

RINGO STARR CONCERT in BOSTON June 29th !

RINGO is my favorite MOCKER. Plus he is the DRUMMER for the first record I ever scored (I Want To Hold Your Hand 45) when I was young lad back in 1964. I tried in vain to get my Dad to take me to Shea Stadium in NYC to see The Beatles in 1966. I finally saw Ringo when he popped up for the encore at The Band's Last Waltz concert at Winterland in San Francisco - Thanksgiving 1976.

Ringo Starr 11th All Starr Band features Edgar Winter (younger brother of Johnny Winter), Gary Wright (Spooky Tooth), Richard Page (Mr. Mister), Wally Palmar (The Romantics), Rick Derringer (The McCoys) and Gregg Bissonette (touring & session drummer for: Steve Vai, David Lee Roth, ELO, Joe Satriani, Santana, Larry Carlton, Steve Lukather, etc.)

6/29/2010 @ BOA Pavilion - Boston, MA

Fans can expect to hear a jukebox worth of classics including Ringo’s “It Don’t Come Easy”, “Photograph”, “Little Help From My Friends”, “Yellow Submarine,” “Octopus’s Garden” as well as selections from his latest release Y NOT (Hip-O/Ume). Ringo will alternate with hits from the All Starr’s including: “Free Ride,” “Frankenstein,” “Broken Wings,” “Kyrie,” “Hang on Sloopy,” “Rock and Roll, Hoochie Koo,” “Dreamweaver,” “Talking In Your Sleep,” and “What I Like About You.”

Over the years I have seen some of his bandmates... Edgar Winter (and Johnny), Rich Derringer, The Romantics, Gary Wright (Dreamweaver tour with Peter Frampton & Fleetwood Mac.)

Peace & Love & Happy 70th Birthday RINGO (July 7th)

RingoStarr.com

This was my first drum kit. I put it together 1966 and banged in a my RACQUET BAND until 1968 when I got a real snare drum (Rogers red sparkles) and put together THE ELECTRIC ONION. Although I played played drums on the side in both bands, i tended to adopt a morph of the John Paul George role and had my brother Greg on drums (pictured above in Racquet Band) and later in The Electric Onion he was special guest on guitar/vocals, so I had Clifton (below) on drums.

Although RINGO is my first favorite drummer, my earliest actually drum lust was when I heard Joe Morello's drum solo on The Dave Brubeck Quartet album Time Out in early 60s. Then in 1990, I formed DRUM ARMY, where I get to play tons of drums with some of the best players around.

Check out this DRUMS! More Drums & Percussion YouTube Playlist that I put together. Are there any other must see drum videos that I should add to my playlist?
